About Me

I am a video editor based in Brighton working on Premiere Pro. I have a Film Screen Studies degree from the University of Brighton and have been editing since 2016. I have experience in both quick turnaround edits as well as multi month projects, both as an individual freelancer and working for agencies.

Working with me

I had an eighty minute film to edit, many hours of which had been shot on three / four isolated cameras. It was quite a daunting task. Then I stumbled upon an interesting looking website offering the services of a Brighton-based editor called Dorothy Peden. Thank goodness I did! The great thing about Dorothy, despite the fact that she has youth on her side, is that nothing seems to faze her. She is unflappable, conscientious, easy to get on with, and just plain good at the job. She quickly understands what you are trying to achieve and then does it even better. She certainly brought a fresh contemporary creativity to that first project together. Now she is my first call if I have anything to edit.
